High Blood Pressure
From One Very Thankful Person
A good chiropractor can make the difference between living a full and healthy life and just existing. After all, without health, we have nothing.
Several months ago, I began to feel bad. I have had slightly elevated blood pressure for many years so I checked my blood pressure among other things. What I learned was that my blood pressure was through the roof. I called my internal medicine M.D., a man I have great respect for and a long history with, and told him what my problem was. He suggested that I come in immediately which I did. They took my blood pressure and agreed that I had a serious problem. They prescribed a new blood pressure medication for me and suggested I start taking it immediately. When I took the medication it made me feel worse and it had a slightly positive affect on my condition but I still had a blood pressure problem.
Fortunately, I discovered there was a chiropractor who was moving his clinic to my area. I stopped by one day and although he was at his office, his new location was not ready for business. He was still getting his office operational and didn't have his equipment set up yet. He did, however take the time to tell me about his philosophy on chiropractic care. I liked what I heard so I made an appointment for the first day he was up and running.
Long story short, I was very pleased with his precise, thorough and gentle approach. After my first adjustment, my blood pressure dropped dramatically. With cautious optimism, I made the decision to drop the new medication prescribed by my M.D and rely on chiropractic care for a few weeks. After the first month my blood pressure was back to normal.
Thank you Dr. Christopher Michlin for a job well done!
