Relief from Headaches, Migraines, Neck Pain, Back Pain, Sciatica and More

The Atlas Orthogonal Adjusting Technique is a gentle and specific upper cervical chiropractic adjusting technique that can provide relief from headaches, migraines, neck pain, back pain, sciatica and more. Problems such as these, and others like fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, and many other bodily issues are often associated with an imbalance in the spinal column. The spinal column is vital to your overall health  due to its role as part of the central nervous system. The entire purpose of your spinal column is to house your spinal cord which connects your brain with every part of your body via the nerves. The Atlas Orthogonal Adjusting Technique focuses on the Atlas vertebrae, the top bone in the neck, because misalignment of this vertebra is the source of so many "chain reaction" physical problems.

Aligning the Atlas Vertebrae

Fort Worth Headaches and MigrainesIf the Atlas vertebrae is twisted or jolted out of its proper alignment, the imbalance can create pressure on your brain stem as well as a chain reaction throughout the rest of the spine as your body works to keep your head, eyes and ears level with the horizon. Trauma of any type -- an auto injury, for example -- is the leading cause of spinal misalignment. We use Atlas Orthogonal adjustments, as well as full spine adjustments, to help all different types of spinal problems, including pain in the neck and back, sciatica, headaches, fibromyalgia, migraines, and blood pressure problems.

Before Dr. Michlin adjusts the Atlas,  he starts with an extensive exam, x-rays, and diagnosis. This exam and x-rays include a thorough scientifically based biomechanical protocol in which the exact measurements of the Atlas vertebrae are taken and then used as a basis for the chiropractic treatments.

The Atlas technique uses cutting-edge science to help remove neurological interference and pain from the body. This is one of the most advanced techniques in chiropractic.   Back To Health Family Chiropractic is proud to be the only chiropractic clinic in the entire North Texas area with a chiropractor who is a Board Certified Atlas Orthogonist.
