Clinic News: Nancy Michlin Shares Breast Cancer Story 

As a patient or friend of Back to Health Family Chiropractic in Fort Worth you may have heard about the successful battle our co-owner, Nancy Michlin, has waged against breast cancer. Nancy was diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine mammogram. She initially underwent a single mastectomy, but post-surgical reports of a hidden cancer, invasive lobular carcinoma, led to the decision to perform a second mastectomy. Furthermore, she also contracted a serious infection which led to additional surgeries.

Nancy is a cancer survivor. Although still experiencing a higher than desirable cancer stem cell count, Nancy says that she is completely focused on whole body health. She credits her recovery to an emphasis on wellness, nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, and the loving support of her family, friends and chiropractor husband, Dr. Michlin. As a result of her journey, Nancy is writing a book and became a Certified Health Coach so she could inspire, educate and empower others about disease prevention and wellness.
